Nexflo Reccommendations

Buying a new boiler is probably not as exciting as buying a new car, but it is just as important. This purchase will will be responsible for providing you and your family hot water and a warm home.

Which Type of boiler?

Combi boiler

We would usually recommend this boiler for small and average size homes, it saves you space, and heats your home quicker than other options. They are very efficient as they only heat the water as you need it rather than heating stored water which is often not used, not only are they going to save you money this way but they are also cheaper in installation costs. The down side is that because they run off your mains water pressure if you are using more than one outlet at once they will loose pressure, so no doing the washing up whilst your partner is in the shower. (unless they have upset you)

Standard boiler

They require more space for tanks and cylinder, and are more suited in larger homes with multiple bathrooms. Standard systems tend to have higher maintenance costs due to there being more components to the system.

System boiler

Similar system to the standard only this system involves pressurising the heating system. We would usually recommend upgrading your standard boiler to a system boiler if you have a large home as it improves the central heating side of the system whilst keeping your hot water storage the same. You will still able to use multiple water outlets at once.
